Big fish in a small pond

Last weekend, Grammy and Memaw and Paw came down and we all went to the Georgia Aquarium. Really cool.

The pictures pretty much tell the story, but man, it was quite an experience. Huge whales overhead, big white whales, weird looking fish -- that place has it all. I didn't know there were so many fish! The coolest things were the jelly fish (blue picture below), the beluga whale (not pictured, but a white whale) and the whale shark (giant fish overtop of little fish). Wow.

We spent a good two hours there and it was worth every minute. But once we got to the final exhibit and saw the sting rays, I jumped up in Paw's arms and went to sleep. I was finished -- night night.

Where do I begin?

The title says it all. These last couple of weeks have been a tornado.

First off, welcome home Uncle Mark! I've missed you. I can't believe how long it's been, because last time you were in town I was just a little thing and you had to carry me around. No more. So I'm glad you're back from Iraq and I had a great time partying with you to celebrate your return.

Second, I had a date with three women! Ms. Amy and Ms. Sara swooped in and picked me up from school one day (I think they told Mommy and Papa first) and we hung out for a while, then went to lunch with Ms. Leila. Unfortunately, I slept the whole time. But I did get to hang out with her when we went back to her house. I ran around in the yard, gave Ms. Amy some grass, and then fed Ms. Sara my graham cracker. We're cool like that. And I hope they ask me out again.

The weather has been really great here lately so I've been exploring the outdoors more. My name, Hudson, means charismatic adventurer, so I've tried to live up to expectation. One day, I went outside with Mommy and helped her re-pot some plants and flowers and then played with my big Nemo ball. Then another night after school, we all went outside and I took a few rides down the slide and went a few rounds on my swing. That thing's a real treat since I can climb all over it.

All in all, it's been a pretty productive couple of weeks. Welcoming Uncle Mark home ... hanging (and flirting) with Ms. Amy, Ms. Sara and Ms. Leila ... and then being lazy and chillin' in the backyard. Good times.
